T Anthony® Repair Services
T Anthony, Theodore Anthony Froitzheim fled the economic turmoil of Germany in the early 1920s, coming to America as an 18-year-old immigrant. He soon found work and a lifelong association with fine travel cases and personal leather accessories as the manager of luggage at Saks 5th Ave. In 1944 his flair for design caught the attention of Elizabeth Arden, who hired him to create custom cases for her cosmetic line. The pay from Ms. Arden became the seed money for him to start his own business, a luxury line of luggage, named not for the once struggling German immigrant, but for his newly christened alter ego T Anthony.
Modern Leather Goods has been partnering with T Anthony for over 30 years, doing all the repairs needed on their cases. New components such as locks, handles, etc as well as ling repair and replacements.
